WHY MASSAGE?

Attending to the Physical:

** Improves and increases circulation of blood and lymph flow

** Provides relief from joint and muscle tension

** Aids in the removal of metabolic wastes

**  Helps reduce muscle spasms and pain

**  Lowers blood pressure and damaging high cortisol levels

Attending to the Emotions

**  Helps to lessens and neutralize anxiety

**  Evokes a deep state of relaxation and calming

**  Re-connects the body/mind/spiritual bond

**  Provides a safe place to look forward to letting go

Attending to the mind:

**  Helps diminish the damaging effects of mental stress

**  Allows a greater awareness of overall stress and sense of self-control

**  Provides clearer thinking and a relaxed state of alertness from more O2

**  Gently calms the sympathetic  system, to be quietly present

WHY AROMATHERAPY?

**  Nature’s living energy – essential oils resonate more closely with our cells

**  Inhaling relaxing oils like Lavender or Lemon quickly go to the limbic portion of the brain gently soothing the emotions

**  Attention to pain can be immediate with Peppermint, Pan Away or Basil

**  Therapeutic grade essential oils with care, love and intention can profoundly and swiftly shift you to a more energetic, calm or peaceful place

**  Topically, inhaling or injesting essential oils during a massage allows for a cohesive spiritual grounding that the busyness of life, electrical connections and trying relationships may alter

**  A more viable, safer and greener method to restore balance and vitality

**  Essential oils have the highest electrical frequency (Rose oil the highest) to be an ally for health so disease, chemicals and toxins have extreme difficulty taking hold

**  God’s medicines and Nature have a much longer track record than the alternative – centuries or the counterpart –  decades

Linda, I love the fact that you point out the therapeutic effects of massage and the essential oils on both the physical body and the mind/spirit! I believe that regular massage therapy and use of the essential oils can enhance a wellness program and can also provide for more effective management of chronic illnesses. Great website and wonderful information!

Aromatherapy can a synergistic partner for massaage therapists, given all the tools and training we may have, as they are simple, effective and felt on a profound level on because they resonate on a cellular level that the body recognizes and reponds to positively. Hope to see you in Virginia Beach for the class Sent to Heal and Annoint to continue learning of God’s centuries old medicines.
